Matching Dresses!

We put the girls in matching dresses for the 1st time and, of course, it was the perfect time for a photo shoot! It was quite an adventure trying to get them to sit still together and smile at the camera all at the same time! But we got some fun shots. They're such happy girls!! What a blessed mother I am.

Daddy and his girls

We've had to start supplementing formula for Dez, she wasn't gaining enough weight and she always seemed to be hungry. The formula has really improved her disposition. :) So the top 2 are daddy feeding her a bottle and Jayci trying to help out, and the bottom one is Dez having some daddy daughter snuggle time. Happy!

Beautiful Girls

Dez is such a happy soul! It's so easy to get pictures of her smiling. I love it! And she has recently discovered her toes, which she loves to put in her mouth. :)





Jayci's hair is getting longer and I was able to put it into braids the other day. And then she drank some chocolate milk and I couldn't resist the mustache picture. The one on the bottom is her trying to put on my mascara. He he he- her shirt is right- she's a girly girl!

Memorial Day

Our friends the Beutlers invited us to a lake their family lives on since we all had the day off, and we had SOOOOOOOOOO much fun! Jayci played with the dog pretty much ALL day (pic 1) and even got brave enough to splash in the water a bit (pic 2- w/ Julie!). Dez slept through most of it, Jase and I got to go kayaking and do a little swimming, and Jase also got do do a little fishing, horse shoes, and other fun things with Paul while me, Julie, and Jayci played at the lake and with the dog, and chatted with their family. It was a blast! Jayci's enjoying some watermelon and totally ignoring her hot dog while she's sitting on daddy's lap in the 3rd pic, and the 4th was when we got home- she looked a little disheveled. So cute!

Dress up queen

Jayci is ALL girl!! She loves to dress up in everything she can find that's girly. Today she put on 6 bracelets- they take up her whole arm. Silly girl! She loves hats, sunglasses, and mommy's shoes. :)

Swingin!

Dez got a chance to try out the swings for the first time. She didn't love it... but she didn't hate it either! :) Jayci just always loves to swing!

Project 52: 4th and 5th dates

I'm waaaay behind on posting our date nights! For our 4th date I used an idea from the love actually blog and did a little "secret agent mission" for Jase w/ different clues leading to different places in the house eventually leading to a little indoor "picnic" of sorts in front of the TV. It was lots of fun!


Our 5th date was another idea from the love actually blog! It was our own night under the stars. I should have gotten it in the picture, but above the picnic (w/ the movie star wars) I cut out several stars out of paper and stuck them up on the wall. We made sugar cookies (in the shape of stars!) and it was awesome!!
