Family Vacation

Last weekend we got to go on our last little "family of 4" vacation. We drove to Des Moines and had a blast all weekend, swimming, meeting the Easter Bunny, visiting the Capitol Building, picnic-ing, going to Chuck E Cheese, etc. The girls had an absolute blast and so did we! It was awesome fun and I'm so glad we got to go. Here are LOTS of pics from the weekend! Enjoy!

Picture day again?

So I tried my hand at taking the girls' pictures by myself this time. I didn't pick the best time ever... Dez was hungry, and therefore, didn't have any desire to smile, but Jayci was pretty cooperative. It was also pretty windy outside, so there's lots of squinting, but what can ya do? So here's what I got...



This shot was actually one where she was crying, but she looked like she was smiling! It was the best one I got of just her.


I just thought Jayci looked super sweet here...

Super giggly girlies


This one probably shows their hair-do's the best. I tried to curl Dez's hair so it would flip out and I did a couple ringlets in Jayci's hair. It was kinda fun!

Family Camp-in!

Since the weather hasn't warmed up enough yet (and I won't want to go camping for real by the time it does!) we decided to have an in-door camping trip! I surprised Jase by putting up the tent in the basement and we had lots of fun "roasting" hot dogs and marshmallows on our "fire" (or the gas stove...). And then we enjoyed the benefits of camping inside as we watched Aladdin w/ the girls before they went to bed. It was SO much fun! Hope you enjoy the pics.

Dez has been learning to eat with a spoon lately. I'm not sure how much actually makes it into her mouth vs all over her hands, face, and body. :) But she's cute!
