Family Photo Shoot

 

It has been far too long since I updated things on here! I'm sensing a pattern... Post some pictures, let a few months go by, remember how far behind I'm falling, and then post some more! So here is the latest with our growing family! Jason is doing great in his residency and is loving Endodontics, I'm loving being able to stay at home with the kids even though it gets kinda hectic sometimes, the kids are all growing so fast we can't believe it!! Our most exciting news is that we welcomed Burke Hansen into the world on March 1st. We can't believe he's already a month old!! He is such a good and peaceful baby and we're so blessed to have this new addition in our home. Life is good (a little crazy, but good) at the Hansen household!

 

So here are some pictures we've taken recently. I did half of our little photo shoot inside and then we had such a nice day a week or so later we decided to try to get the rest of the family pics in at the park. It was quite an adventure! Enjoy!

 

 

 

Playing in the Snow

We haven't had much snow around here this winter- but I'm not complaining! The 1st time it snowed, Daddy took everyone out to build a snowman. This time when the kids saw it building up outside they were instantly begging to go out and play again, so we whipped out all our snow gear again and headed out. Poor Emmett ended up in pink snow pants and boots- the product of having 2 older sisters. :) We had a blast with the sleds and just playing around in general.

Jason recently surprised me by discovering an old time photo place at Worlds of Fun- it was a little crazy trying to get everyone dressed and keep them happy, but I think they turned out pretty cute!!!

 Miss Jayci had a dance recital recently. It was so cute and she did a great job. We're proud of her! We're sad that dance class is over.

Emmett has figured out how to open his little snacks by biting off the lid. I took pictures of him taking off the lid with his teeth, then putting it back on again so he could bite it off again. Such a funny boy. We sure love him!

My garden

Though I can't take credit for any of it- my garden produced some really pretty flowers this spring. I had to take pictures before the heat wilted them all away! I can't believe how hot it is in March!! Crazy weather. But here is my garden...

Happy St. Patricks Day

Honestly, we didn't really do anything to celebrate the holiday! But I found these pictures I took of the girls a few days ago. I'd planned to have them wear these hats on the day of, but didn't end up doing it. The pictures turned out cute though! So here they are. Hope everyone was pinch proof on this green holiday!
